There is no better experience than watching someone shine in their own unique light.
Two years ago, I decided to launch the first-ever Women to Watch Awards in an effort to elevate and celebrate the phenomenal women of the event industry for International Women's Day. Recognizing that visibility is a key ingredient for success, why not spotlight leaders who are making an incredible impact on their community and the people around them?
Reading the entries that hundreds of men and women from across the globe wrote when they nominated their colleagues, mentors, mentees and peers has been incredibly heartwarming. The stories they shared and the admiration and appreciation they have for the women you're going to scroll down and read about is truly inspiring. These leaders are compassionate, strategic, gritty, creative, resilient, strong, kind, empowered, and authentic. They are the women who make the meetings industry - and the world around them - better.
So please, join me in celebrating and honoring the women who have been nominated by their peers for this year's Women to Watch Awards. Cheers to you, ladies!
